Database development in java or C++?

I am going to be using a MySQL database but I am not sure what I should use to connect with it, C++ or Java. A GUI really isn't to important, just want to know which it would be easier to do it all in, C++ or java.

Database development in java or C++?
Use Java, though PHP probably takes the fewest lines of code to interface with MySQL, if you are going to build a large, enterprise application, Java will ultimately be a better choice. If you're just doing something simple for yourself - PHP. Unless you want a desktop client (non-web) - then Java.

There are MySQL C APIs if you really want to use C++.
Reply:They should be equal, if you can find the right C++ library.

Given that, the best will be the language you are most comfortable working in.
Reply:java is better. because there \jdbc is easy to use

u will get more info from

Reply:The easiest and most comprehensive, multi dimensional data base is PICK.

Nothing else even comes close.
