When I tried to install an XP cd, I get a DOS c: prompt. What do I do?
How to open windows gui from the dos prompt?
If you are installing WinXP:
1- Go to your CD (like E:) by typing E: then enter
2- type cd i386 then enter
3- type winnt
4- it will ask you (May be) for the cd rom drive letter.
Reply:Type exit
Then press the Enter key
